For the past few months I've been suffering from some sort of fibre deficit so haven't been feeling my best. One of the things that's been helping me is eating Weetabix. Weetabix is like Marmite though, you either love it or hate it. And I hate it. Marmite AND Weetabix. That means that there's no way I can just eat it like that, soaked in a bit of milk. *gags* The only way how to get this oh so needed fibre into my system is through a smoothie. Do you want to know how I make my super delicious Weetabix Bomb smoothie?
⇢ one banana
⇢ a small handful of frozen berries
⇢ a half of one Weetabix bar
⇢ one tablespoon of your favourite honey
⇢ a cup of hazelnut almond milk
⇢ extras: probiotics, multivitamins, fish oil or any other supplements you might be using at the moment
I personally love thick smoothies - they fill you up for the morning & if you're in a rush, you may as well skip your breakfast and grab one of these to drink it on the go. For the past week or so I've had a smoothie every morning, even on the work days - I just take it with me & drink it on the train, muhaha!
