FOOD! There's food on my blog! I'm so happy to start introducing some of my favourite dishes on Cityscape Bliss! Me & Justin have been on a healthy food roll for more than a month now & it really does make a difference! There used to be times when I would eat KFC every day (even twice *cringes*)  or just some random frozen fish fingers from Iceland with a side of instant mash. *vom* No wonder I used to get stomach-ache after every single meal! At the moment one of my absolutely favourite dishes is this Jamie Oliver's Asian glazed chicken with spicy potatoes. It tastes sooo good & is super easy to make!

What do you need?
⇢ chicken (can be wings, thighs, anything you like)
⇢ potatoes (normal or sweet, doesn't matter)
⇢ 1 small bottle of sweet chilli sauce
⇢ 1 lime
⇢ 2 table spoons of soya sauce
⇢ a little bit of fresh ginger
⇢ 1 tea spoon of brown sugar
⇢ 2 peppers
⇢ 1 onion
⇢ olive oil
⇢ potato spices (depends what you like, they sell spices just for potatoes, or you can make your own with paprika, pepper, salt, some chilly flakes etc)
⇢ salt
⇢ pepper

Now to make the chicken, you wash the pieces, place them on a tray and add a bit of olive oil, salt & pepper. Leave in the oven for about 20-30 minutes. Meanwhile make your glazing. Mix 1 small bottle of sweet chilli sauce with 2 table spoons of soya sauce, 1 tea spoon of brown sugar, a little bit of grated ginger and a little bit of grated lime zest. When the chicken goes a little brown, take the sauce and rub it all over the chicken (I just use a spoon, but if you want to be super cheffy, then you can use your hands). Put back into the oven for another 20 minutes and voila - glazed chicken nom nom nom is ready!

To make the potatoes, just slice them up (the thinner the slices, the crispier), or even half them if you're lazy like me, spread them on a tray and add some salt, pepper, olive oil and spices. If you're feeling some extra veggies then add some onion & peppers, or even tomatoes! Yum!

Let me know if you give it a go!
