Cookie the cat

Hello stranger! My name is Tereza (emphasis on the zed) and I'm a 26 year old Czech girl livin' in Birmingham (UK, not AL). I live with my naughty kitten Cookie in a lovely house in suburbs of the Black Country, where I collect all things feline, hang millions of photographs on the walls and sniff old books (but then, who doesn't right?).

What are your most favourite things in the world?
my kitten Cookie (who should be a professional cage cat fighter - he's that mental)
➵ vintage cameras (I have a collection of 30+ cameras)
➵ curly moustaches (not on people, oh no)
➵ horses (I'm a horse gal, al'right - I'm not a cray cray case, but my dad sat me on my first pony when I was 3 month old, so yeaaah)
➵ all things DIY (but only when it works out all pretty & functional, when it doesn't I'm cranky - thankfully my DIY sofa from wooden pallets did work out *phew*)
➵ collecting things (one would say I'm a hoarder, I say I'm a collector)
➵ travelling (although I don't work in an information centre anymore, in my heart I'm still a tourist guide)
➵ lavender (I basically want to live in the middle of the Cotswolds lavender fields)
➵ green pesto (it gives me a heartburn, but that won't stop me, nom nom nom)
➵ condensed milk (I'm Czech - we eat condensed milk instead of sweets)
➵ blogging (doh!)
➵ flea markets & carboot sales (you can see some of my latest finds here & here)
➵ books (apart from sniffin' them, I read them, a lot of them, probably too many of them)
➵ pretty make-up (as pretty as this heart blusher if possible)
➵ cat memorabilia (life is so much brighter with a cat tea pot on your hand & a fluffy hat that makes you look like a kitten!)
➵ photography (leaving the flat without a camera is not an option)

What camera do you use?
Canon 450D

  4. I really like your blog, you photos are amazing and I love cats, too :D

This is maybe an odd question, but can you do a blogpost about living in Czech Republic?
I'm from Germany and I never visited it before, but maybe I'll move to Hradec Králové in fall to study there at the Univerzita Karlova v Praze(medicine faculty in HK).

    1. Thank you! Oooh, that's great - let me know whether you go to Hradec eventually! I'm not sure I'm the right person to talk about living in Czech Republic though, I've been living in the UK for 5 years, and so many things change so quickly - I'm like whaaat when I come home for holz haha x

    2. Haha, yes that's true. So many things change extremely quickly!
I'm waiting for potentially admissions from other universities. But people told me that Czech Republic is very beautiful and the culture somewhat comparable to german culture.
